In the middle of the Pietra Santa Winery, Paul and Emily were married beneath this gorgeous oak tree surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was such a beautiful day and even more beautiful ceremony. It was so sweet to see how many of their family or friends contributed to different parts of their day. Emily is one of my best friends little sister and being their to document her marrying her Groom was so special. I was a blubbering weeping mess but I loved every minute of their day. Emily and Paul relived it below,
Emily wrote, "I remember saying probably a million times on our wedding day, "I just want today to be the longest day ever." Now looking back and piecing every detail together I can honestly say it was the best day of my life. Seeing Paul for the first time as I walked down the aisle made me all the more positive that this was the guy I would spend the rest of my life with and everything else about that day was just icing on the cake. Everything came together better than I could have ever imagined and what made it the most special was all the people that were a part of it. When planning our wedding, Paul and I really wanted to include our friends and family and all their special gifts. Without everyone helping and blessing us with their gifts our wedding day wouldn't have been what it was. I think that is probably my favorite part of this whole process--how the most important people in our lives were part of making our day perfect. The flowers, cake, decorations, hair, makeup, and photos were all done by people we love and then to top it all off our best friends were up there by our side. Our day perfectly reflected the community we have in our lives that have loved and encouraged us as we step into this next stage of our lives."
Paul said, "The morning of the wedding I was relieved that the day was finally here. It had been a long time coming and we were both so excited for this public display of our commitment to each other. I couldn't wait to see my bride as she was walked down the aisle by her father. It was a moment that I will remember forever; a feeling came over me like I had never experienced as I awaited my bride. She was absolutely stunning, a perfect match for me, created by our God specifically for me and it was so special that the story He had laid out for us was starting a new chapter. The overwhelming generosity from family and friends, as mentioned above, was truly amazing and such a blessing. "
